INotes/ID Vault password change issue

Our mail server cluster is on Domino 8.5.3 , we have ID Vault implemented on these. We have a large number of INotes only users and they have issues when changing their password. Our Standard Browser is IE. Users can get to the password change dialog via security and enter the old ID password and the new ID password and submit, but the browser comes back with the following dialog
"To Display the web page again, the web browser needs to resend the information you’ve previously submitted. If you were making a purchase, you should click Cancel to avoid a duplicate transaction, or , Click Retry to display web page"
Regardless which option is chosen Domino Changes the embedded NOTES ID Password and the ID Vault password for the user, but does not create an AdminP request for HTTP password change, HTTP password remains the same.
